One of my dear friends introduced me to heroin. It was one of the drugs I swore I would never use. But lo and behold, by the end of it you could offer me anything else and I would choose heroin instead.

That chapter of my drug use was like going through hell with gasoline poured on me. Nobody wants to live in that situation, but they may not be ready or may not know how to get out of it. If it was easy to get over this drug, there wouldn’t be many people using it. 

There are as many different ways to get clean as there are people who use. Whatever it takes for you, you’ve got to do it. You owe it to yourself.
